What a Wedding Day Coordinator Does Not Do

To ensure a smooth and stress-free wedding day, it’s important to understand the role of a Wedding Day Coordinator versus that of your catering and rental teams.

A Wedding Day Coordinator does not handle physical setup or breakdown tasks, including but not limited to:

• Setting linens, tablecloths, napkins, or runners
• Setting dishes, utensils, glassware, charger plates, or place settings
• Setting up or lighting candles
• Setting or arranging flowers or floral décor
In most cases, the catering company and/or rental company is responsible for setting up tables, linens, chairs, charger plates, glassware, and place settings according to the agreed layout.

Additionally, Wedding Day Coordinators do not:

Wash dishes, utensils, or glassware Pick up, collect, or return linens at the end of the event Move ceremony chairs to the reception space Move or repurpose ceremony flowers for the reception

A Wedding Day Coordinator’s primary role is timeline management, vendor coordination, problem-solving, and ensuring the event flows seamlessly, allowing you and your guests to fully enjoy the day.
